What's metered
Every plan meters per-tenant usage events and enforces hard caps per workspace, project, and persona. The Studio's /usage dashboard shows real-time spend.
- Tokens — in + out, per model, per persona, per day
- Tool calls — including egress count + per-tool cost estimate
- Autonomy ticks — count + median cost
- Embedding tokens — separate meter; reused via cache where possible
- Storage — per workspace, per persona; old summaries are compressed
Frequently asked
Can I bring my own model key?
Yes. On Community + Starter, the platform uses your Anthropic / OpenAI / Voyage keys directly — we never see them. On Business + Enterprise, we manage shared capacity at bulk rates and credit it back as part of the per-persona price.
What if I exceed my plan's cap?
We email at 50/80/100% and your plan-level metering soft-caps at 100%. Hard caps fire at 120% to protect you from a misconfigured autonomy loop. You can lift the cap at any time from the workspace settings.
Can I run PersonaMesh inside my VPC?
Yes — that's the Enterprise plan. We ship a Helm chart, an air-gap installer, a distroless image variant, and an offline-verifiable license. Customer KMS / HSM integration is available via the standard PMESH_KMS_* interface.
